Mumbai, March 10 (NationPress) Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has disclosed that film shoots are only paused when Team India secures a victory.
Ayushmann shared a video on his Instagram, showcasing himself and his crew from the upcoming film “Thama”. The video captured the entire crew engrossed in the India Vs New Zealand match on a mobile device alongside the actor.
Following India’s impressive four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the 2025 Champions Trophy, Ayushmann and his “Thama” team erupted in cheers and applause. However, they gradually made their way to the filming location while urging each other with the phrase “chalo chalo”.
“Shooting stops when India wins! #championstrophy2025 #winners #worldchampions #Thama,” Ayushmann captioned the post.
‘Thama’ is described as a ‘bloody love story’ and is part of Maddock’s successful horror-comedy universe. The film is anticipated to deliver a captivating love story set against a gritty backdrop, featuring a talented cast that includes Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles, alongside Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for ‘Munjya’, with a screenplay by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, and is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.
Ayushmann was last seen in “Dream Girl 2” directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. This film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 movie Dream Girl, featuring Ayushmann alongside Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa.
The plot revolves around a man who cross-dresses and poses as a woman, resulting in significant chaos and confusion.
Recently, Ayushmann released his Haryanvi track 'The Heartbreak Chhora'. The music video features a unique, AI-generated visualizer that combines stunning artistry with quirky visuals, marking Ayushmann as the first mainstream Bollywood actor to have an AI music video.
Written by Kunwar Juneja and Krishna Bharadwaj, 'The Heartbreak Chhora' has music composed by Jaya Rohilla. This track is notable for being the first instance where a Punjabi singer has contributed his voice to a Haryanvi song.
