Mumbai, Dec 21 (NationPress) Actor, singer, and politician Babul Supriyo recently recounted an experience of facing severe trolling. On Sunday, he took to Instagram to share a nostalgic video of his children having fun in front of the renowned Indian cricketer M.S. Dhoni.

In the caption, he elaborated on the story behind the clip. He stated, “Once upon a time, at the gate of #msdhoni7's residence in Ranchi: Here are my little one Naina and her cousin Golu during a visit to Ranchi with their grandparents! This is the GATE OF Thala-Dhoni @mahi7781. They attempted to meet him by talking to the watchman, handing him my card, mentioning I am also a minister... but it obviously didn’t work. Eventually, they called me for assistance, and their attempts at name-dropping were hilarious.”

He added, “I mentioned every name they thought I might know to get his number. When I told them it was impossible, as very few have it and he rarely uses a phone, I faced severe trolling through messages and voice notes, being branded a ‘DUMBO’. Yet, it’s heartwarming to see the immense love this man has garnered across generations. Take a bow, and I truly felt sad that I couldn’t do anything.”
