Badshah Advocates Peace Between Diljit Dosanjh and A. P. Dhillon, Reflects on Past Conflicts

Mumbai, Dec 23 (NationPress) The escalating dispute involving Punjabi icon Diljit Dosanjh and singer-songwriter A. P. Dhillon is gaining more attention. Recently, rapper Badshah has decided to step in to mediate between the two music icons.
Badshah took to his Instagram Stories to share a message, presumably aimed at both artists. He stated, “Please don't make the mistakes that we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like they say, ‘if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together’. United we stand.”
This intervention follows A. P. Dhillon’s remark during a live performance, where he mentioned that Diljit had blocked him on Instagram. In response, Diljit clarified during his own show that the claim is unfounded, asserting that he has not blocked anyone.
Shortly after, A. P. Dhillon shared a screen recording on his Instagram Stories illustrating that he could not access Diljit’s content due to being blocked. He later posted another recording showing that he regained access after Diljit unblocked him.
Diljit reiterated his stance, stating that his conflicts are directed at governmental authorities and that he would never engage in disputes with fellow artists, emphasizing his respect for both the art and its creators.
Badshah’s comment about not repeating past mistakes likely refers to his notorious fallout with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. The two previously collaborated and were part of the music collective Mafia Mundeer, which Honey Singh established alongside Diljit. However, they eventually found themselves in conflict.
Honey Singh claimed that Badshah was never truly part of Mafia Mundeer, asserting that he came from a wealthy background, which contradicted the group's mission to support struggling artists. He stated that Badshah did not meet the group's criteria as he was financially secure.
Furthermore, Honey Singh alleged that Badshah was merely a client, indicating that he was financially compensated by Badshah’s father for composing and producing a song for his son.
