Has Barun Sobti's Perspective on Scripts Changed?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) Renowned actor Barun Sobti expresses that despite the significant transformations in the world and on social media, his personal outlook on work and relevance has remained steadfast.
The actor conveyed that he has always held a belief in the strength of compelling scripts and continues to maintain that belief.
Barun shared with IANS: “The world has undergone tremendous changes, and the evolution of algorithms and social media is evident. However, my viewpoint hasn’t shifted. I have always relied on scripts, and I still do. Initially, I didn’t receive many quality scripts, but now I am fortunate to get them. To be honest, the happenings on social media don’t concern me much.”
When discussing how to remain relevant in the industry, Barun highlighted the importance of ongoing self-awareness and personal growth.
“To remain relevant, it is essential to engage your faculties for life,” he stated.
He emphasized that constant comparisons with others are counterproductive, urging individuals to focus on identifying where they can excel.
“You can’t just think, ‘Oh, they are doing this…’ It’s crucial to discover where you belong and how you can be most effectively utilized; otherwise, there’s no point in any work,” he remarked.
Barun is preparing for the second season of the “Kohrra” franchise. The new installment, which also features Mona Singh and Rannvijay Singha, will premiere on Netflix on February 11. In this season, Barun will reprise his role as the astute investigator Amarpal Garundi, who collaborates with a new character portrayed by Mona to unravel a complex and dark murder mystery involving a woman.
