Does Barun Sobti Really Not Believe in Mistakes?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Jan 31 (NationPress) Renowned actor Barun Sobti expressed that he does not subscribe to the concept of mistakes. He believes that life revolves around discerning whether a decision was correct or incorrect and gaining insights from it.
When asked how he copes with perceived mistakes, Barun was inquired if he tends to linger on them or has learned the art of acceptance and progression.
Barun shared with IANS: “I don’t believe in mistakes. What I would say is that even if you want to really mention a mistake, then you need to say that either you did the right thing or the wrong thing. So there is something wrong.”
“Recognizing that you’ve made a choice is the beginning of moving toward the right path. One must not be overly harsh on oneself; it’s essential to learn how to manage those moments,” he added. Barun is set to reprise his role as assistant sub-inspector Amarpal Jasjit Garundi in Kohrra 2.
In relation to his upcoming Netflix series, which reveals a murder mystery while exploring themes of fractured relationships and moral exhaustion, Barun shared insights on human vulnerability.
“Personally, I've always aspired to evolve as an individual engaged in the media. I believe I’ve advanced further in that journey with this project. I often reflect on my writing skills and how adept Sudeep is in the investigative process, where one interprets information but executes it differently; this can only exist in one’s mind. Hence, I’ve been trying to learn on the side,” he remarked.
The new season of Kohrra also features Barun Sobti and Rannvijay Singha. The second season will be available on Netflix starting February 11. In this season, Barun reprises his role as the astute investigator Amarpal Garundi, who collaborates with a new character played by Mona to unravel a complex and dark murder case involving a woman.
