Chennai, Jan 23 (NationPress) According to the assertions made by the team behind director Riyas Marath's highly anticipated Malayalam crime thriller 'Anomie', this film, featuring Rahman and Bhavana in leading roles, has made history as the first Indian production to employ the sound design software Sound Particles.

The film's official Instagram account shared a video clip from an interview with actress Bhavana, who stated, "In this film, we utilized the sound design software known as Sound Particles. This is the first instance in India where it has been incorporated in a movie. It's been utilized in films like 'Weapons', 'Dune', and 'Oppenheimer'. The team behind Sound Particles has confirmed this officially. 'Anomie' is indeed a theatrical experience."

The film, which was initially set to premiere on January 30, is now scheduled to be released on February 6.

Since the teaser's release a week ago, the film has generated significant anticipation.

The teaser opens with a voiceover stating, "Everyone, everywhere wants to live. The rich want to live, the poor want to live. Nobody wants to die." As this narration unfolds, a sequence of intense scenes involving police unfolds.

Another voiceover, this time in Malayalam, proclaims, "The only thing that man fears is death." Rahman, portraying a police officer, confronts an individual and asserts, "You are a fucking psychopath," to which the other person, seemingly through a microphone, retorts, "No, I am not."

Bhavana's character remarks, "Either he knows who the killer is, or he is the killer," as the police prepare for a manhunt.

We then hear a voice, likely that of the psychopath, taunting, "Who is coming next, a man? Or a force? A man with a force?" As this voiceover plays, a series of gripping action sequences unfold.

The teaser clearly indicates that the film centers around the police's pursuit to bring a psychopath to justice.

In addition to Bhavana and Rahman, the cast includes Shebin Benson, Vishnu Agasthya, Binu Pappu, and Arjun Lal in significant roles.

Produced by Dr. Roy CJ, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Blitzkrieg Films, Bhavana, and Aadith Prassanakumar, the film features music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and cinematography by Sujith Sarang.
