During a recent media session at the preview of the 'Bhooth Bangla' track, producer Ektaa Kapoor shared that when they approached Akshay with the script, he was quick to express his enthusiasm about joining the project.
Ektaa emphasized that Akshay's joy was palpable when they mentioned bringing Priyadarshan on board as the director.
Furthermore, she revealed that when her team presented the script to Priyadarshan, he was impressed but suggested a few modifications, which the team readily accepted.
Ektaa noted that once the agreement was finalized, all key players came together within just three days.
Bhooth Bangla, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with Cape of Good Films, features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, the film is slated for theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
