Mumbai, Jan 19 (NationPress) Bhumi Pednekar, renowned actor and Climate Warrior, is set to participate in the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders (YGL) Community. The star of 'Badhaai Do' is traveling to the esteemed Davos 2025 World Economic Forum annual gathering in Switzerland, where she will represent India.

Bhumi shared a glimpse of her journey through Switzerland via her Instagram stories, posting a video of her car ride as she heads to the Davos 2025 event. In previous discussions, she expressed her eagerness to engage as a YGL, stating, “I genuinely want to participate in Davos despite my packed shooting schedule. The role of a Young Global Leader is to thrive in our respective domains as well. This year promises to be extremely busy for me as an actor, entrepreneur, and someone determined to make an impact. I sincerely hope to be present at Davos and any platform that calls for my voice.”

On a different note, Bhumi is also set to star alongside Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in the upcoming romantic film, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’. As the release date approaches, the team is diligently finishing up the remaining filming and post-production tasks. Reports indicate a recent mishap occurred on the film set while shooting a song. A ceiling collapsed during the song shoot at Imperial Palace, Royal Palms. Fortunately, although Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Jackky Bhagnani, and director Mudassar Aziz were on-site during the incident, no major injuries were reported among the cast or crew. However, it was noted that the director of photography sustained a thumb fracture, and a cameraman injured his spine. Additionally, director Mudassar Aziz also incurred injuries in the accident.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Husband Ki Biwi’ is scheduled to hit theaters on February 21 this year.
