Bhumi Pednekar Offers a Glimpse of Her Lovely Morning in Hyderabad

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Actress Bhumi Pednekar, presently in Hyderabad, shared a snapshot capturing her delightful morning in the City Of Nawabs.

Bhumi took to her Instagram stories, revealing a picture of herself donning a black crop top paired with denim. In the image, she is seen holding a flower while posing against the city's beautiful backdrop.

Earlier, she had posted a series of images with some Sufi singers, tagging them as “Talent”.

Upon her arrival on Thursday, Bhumi reflected on her past visits to the city when she was merely a casting assistant in search of actors.

“Hyderabad, I’m back in the city after many, many years. The last time I was here, I was a casting assistant looking for actors. And today, I am here to receive an award :) Never stop dreaming,” she wrote as her caption.

Regarding her background, Bhumi worked as an assistant casting director at Yash Raj Films for six years and made her film debut as an overweight bride in the romantic comedy Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015.

She subsequently appeared in films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Bala, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Saand Ki Aankh, Badhaai Do, Thank You For Coming, Bheed, and Afwaah. Her most recent appearance was in Bhakshak, a film based on the Muzaffarpur shelter case.

Next, she will feature in the series The Royals, which she described in November as being “magnanimous” and will also star in the psychological thriller Daldal.

Speaking about The Royals, Bhumi, who co-hosted this year’s International Film Festival of India (IFFI) opening ceremony, mentioned: “It’s my first long format. I’m incredibly happy that our collaborators are Netflix. It’s going to be magnanimous, with elements of romance and comedy that I personally enjoy.”

The actress emphasized that while the show fits within the rom-com genre, it features “layered” and “nuanced” performances from a diverse cast, which includes both seasoned actors like Zeenat Aman and new talents such as Ishaan Khatter, as reported by variety.com.

Additionally, she discussed her character in the series Daldal, describing it as the absolute opposite of The Royals.

“I haven’t encountered a character as complex in my career,” stated the actress.
