Mumbai, March 2 (NationPress) Actor Bobby Deol, who is eagerly anticipating the release of the next installment of the third season of his successful streaming series ‘Aashram’, has revealed how the show’s creator and director Prakash Jha honored his special request to ease the filming process.
Bobby appears to have carved out a niche for himself in portraying negative roles, executing them with remarkable skill. To fully embody a character, various aspects are crucial, including physicality. Ahead of the release of the second part, Bobby spoke with IANS and disclosed one condition he presented to Prakash.
Reflecting on this, Bobby stated to IANS, “Prakash ji, I have immense respect for him. He is the producer, director, writer, and everything else on this show, but his energy is extraordinary. I requested just one thing: a decent gym. During the first season, we were shooting in Ayodhya. When I arrived, the gym was already set up. I would go there at 5:00 am or 5:30 am, and Prakash ji would often be coming out of the gym. I’d ask him, ‘What’s going on?’. He would work out and then leave for shooting at 7 in the morning.”
The actor continued, “He would return at night. I thought to myself, if there’s ever a day when I’m not at my best, how could I tell him that I’m tired or have a headache? How could I possibly cancel or be late when he works so hard? In the evenings, he would review the scenes, and his assistant Madhavi would brief me on the changes. I would visit her room every evening, and she would mention that Prakash ji was still hard at work.”
Bobby noted that on the first day, Prakash slightly altered some lines, which was a different approach compared to his own working style.
“Gradually, I adapted. The meanings and words remained similar, but some lines were adjusted. In the same scene, there would be a similar angle again, so I changed my outfit. He made me repeat my dialogue, which made me very happy. This demonstrates how much he values his actors, wanting them to feel fulfilled. It was truly amazing to have the opportunity to work with Prakash ji,” he added.
