Los Angeles, Oct 15 (NationPress) American rapper Cardi B is unapologetic when it comes to celebrating her achievements. The talented artist expressed that she feels immensely proud of her accomplishments.

The 33-year-old musician became visibly moved during the launch event for her album ‘Am I the Drama?’, admitting to being astonished by what she has achieved in her music career, as reported by Female First UK.

Cardi B, who released ‘Am I the Drama?’ in September, shared with Paper Magazine, "I was very emotional because I felt a deep sense of pride. It wasn't just about releasing the album; it was about the hard work I've put in over the last two months, all while expecting a baby, and all those thoughts flooded my mind.”

“I realized, 'Wow, my album is about to launch, and I have truly worked my a** off.' I believe few really grasp what it means when you say you’ve put in relentless effort, and then you see the rewards, feel the love, and sense the energy stemming from your hard work,” she continued.

According to Female First UK, Cardi released her first album, ‘Invasion of Privacy’, in 2018, and she believes she has evolved significantly since then.

The chart-topping artist, who transitioned from being a stripper to finding fame in the music scene, reflected, "When I released my debut album, people need to remember I didn’t even grasp the significance of launching an album. I thought it was merely about putting out a project.”

“This time, I recognized the gravity of the situation and wanted it to represent something dear to me. I personally chose all the songs; these are my favorites from a selection. With ‘Invasion of Privacy’, I didn’t have the luxury of choice; I rushed it out because I had to create music videos and prepare for Kulture’s birth. This time, I took my time. Over the past seven years, I’ve matured immensely. I've had a few children, and now I’m genuinely part of the industry. I was navigating, learning, and growing on my own,” she concluded.
