Celina Jaitly Honors Her Late Mother with a Cherished Lace Saree

Mumbai, Jan 11 (NationPress) Celina Jaitly adorned herself in her "most treasured possession" – her late mother’s elegant black lace saree, expressing that it felt like her mother’s warm embrace surrounding her.
Celina took to her Instagram account to share a captivating image of herself in her backyard, elegantly draped in the stunning lace saree.
In her heartfelt caption, she shared: “Meri maa ki saree, uski mamta ki khushbu, uske sangharsh ki gawaahi aur uske pyaar ka anmol tohfa hai.” (My mother’s saree, the essence of her love, the testament to her hardships, and the priceless gift of her affection.)
She expressed that her mother’s saree envelops her essence like a warm hug.

Celina Jaitly's mother, Meeta, passed away on June 8, 2018, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
On her professional front, Celina made her entry into films with Feroz Khan's 2003 release ‘Janasheen’, a romantic action thriller that was partially filmed in Afghanistan. Prior to her acting debut, she was crowned Femina Miss India 2001 and secured the 4th runner-up position at Miss Universe 2001.
She is recognized for her performances in films such as ‘No Entry,’ ‘Apna Sapna Money Money,’ ‘Golmaal Returns,’ and ‘Thank You.’
Her last appearance on screen was in 2011 in the Kannada romance drama “Shrimathi,” directed by Ravi Kumar. This film was a remake of the 2004 Bollywood movie Aitraaz, which is loosely based on the film Disclosure.
