Chennai, March 22 (NationPress) The highly anticipated web series 'Muthu Alias Kaattaan', directed by National Award-winning filmmaker M. Manikandan and B. Ajith Kumar, has unveiled the character names and appearances of key actors, much to the excitement of fans and cinephiles alike.

On its social media channels, the streaming platform Jio Hotstar Tamil announced, "Step into the realm of #Kaattaan and meet unforgettable characters. #HotstarSpecials Muthu Engira #Kaattaan premieres on March 27 exclusively on #Jiohotstar. Created by M. Manikandan and directed by M. Manikandan & B. Ajith Kumar."

The cast features actress Abi Nakshatra as Sittu and director Balaji Sakthivel as Meesai Perusu. Risha Jacobs will portray Meena, while Irshad Ali takes on the role of Benny. Additionally, actress Parvathy will be seen as Lalitha, with Sudev Nair playing Johny.

A teaser released earlier sparked considerable interest, showcasing a dismembered head belonging to a man named Muthu. Following this, a trailer was unveiled, offering deeper insights into the narrative and showcasing differing perspectives from characters that depict vastly contrasting images of the man.

The central question remains: is he a feared criminal or a misunderstood hero? As views collide, the enigma surrounding Muthu intensifies, gradually revealing the reality behind his horrific discovery.

Starring Vijay Sethupathi, the series also includes notable performances from Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, Abi Nakshatra, Balaji Sakthivel, and Muthukumar, among other prominent talents.
