Mumbai, Feb 20 (NationPress) In a significant advantage for Vicky Kaushal's newest cinematic venture, "Chhaava", the film has been granted tax-free status in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, including its capital Bhopal, and Goa.
The movie, which is creating considerable excitement due to its captivating narrative and Vicky Kaushal's impactful portrayal, is inspired by the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. On February 19, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made this announcement during a public event celebrating the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In a post on his X handle, Mohan Yadav stated, "In honor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary, I declare the Hindi film 'Chhaava' based on his son Sambhaji Maharaj as tax-free."
The government of Goa has also announced that "Chhaava" will be tax-free in the state. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant shared this information on his X handle, tweeting, “Victory to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj! I am pleased to announce that the movie 'Chhaava', which reflects the life and sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be tax-free in Goa.
