Hyderabad, March 7 (NationPress) Iconic Megastar Chiranjeevi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Telangana government for awarding him the esteemed NTR National Film Award, emphasizing that being recognized with an award named after NTR garu is an immense privilege.

In a note shared on his X account, Chiranjeevi stated, "Congratulations to all the recipients of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025. It is always a delight to honor the dedication and enthusiasm of our cinema community. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana, CM @revanth_anumula garu, @Bhatti_Mallu garu, and the entire jury for bestowing upon me the NTR National Film Award. Receiving an award named after NTR garu is truly a great honour. I am deeply appreciative of the love and support that have been my greatest strengths throughout my journey."

For those unfamiliar, the Telangana government revealed the winners of the prestigious Gaddar State Film Awards for 2025 on Saturday. This event also included a list of eight special awards.

Among the honored was Megastar Chiranjeevi, who received the NTR National Award, while Ashwini Dutt was recognized with the Nagireddy – Chakrapani Award.

Additionally, actor, director, producer, and politician Kamal Haasan will receive the Paidi Jairaj Award, and veteran actress Jayasudha is set to be honored with the Akkineni Award.

Suddala Ashok Teja will be acknowledged with the C Narayana Reddy (CINARE) Award, while R Narayana Murthy will receive the Kantha Rao Award. The B N Reddy Award will go to legendary Telugu film icon Sangeetam Srinivasa Rao, and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award will be presented to Ramesh Prasad.

Numerous individuals from the film industry have extended their congratulations to Megastar Chiranjeevi since the announcement was made on Saturday afternoon. Notable figures like actor Nagarjuna and director Anil Ravipudi were among those applauding Chiranjeevi.
