Mumbai, Oct 29 (NationPress) Hollywood actor and filmmaker Dave Franco and his actor-writer spouse Alison Brie have created countless memories together. One particularly endearing recollection stems from a visit by Alison’s family to Franco's home.

Franco, who tied the knot with fellow actor Brie, 42, in 2017, reminisced about the times when they used to share his childhood twin bed during visits to his family in Palo Alto, California, according to reports from ‘People’ magazine.

While promoting his latest film ‘Regretting You’, he shared with ‘Bustle’, “In my childhood home, my mom hadn’t altered my room since I left at 18, including my twin bed. Each time Alison and I would visit my mom, we would be squished in that twin bed.”

He added, “Eventually, she said, ‘Babe, I love you. I adore your mom. I cherish your hometown. I can’t do this anymore’.”

Franco later revealed that his family purchased a larger bed for his childhood room. This charming anecdote, reminiscent of a scene from Franco and Brie's upcoming horror film ‘Together’, is just one of the many loving stories he shared about his relationship with Brie.

According to ‘People’, the couple started their romantic journey during Mardi Gras in New Orleans back in 2011, thanks to a mutual friend playing matchmaker. Fast forward nearly 15 years, they are happily married and frequently collaborate on projects.

In ‘Regretting You’, Franco steps into an atypical role as a romantic co-lead, based on the novel by author Colleen Hoover.

“In reality, I am quite romantic,” he mentioned when asked if he indulges in reading romance novels. “If you ask my wife, she would say I’m far more romantic than she is. I’m also a very sensitive, vulnerable, and open individual.”

While discussing his experience portraying a drug-fueled party animal in Seth Rogen's Apple TV series The Studio, he expressed how much he enjoys the simple pleasure of staying in with Brie.
