The production team took to Instagram to announce the completion of the shoot in a quintessential Dhamaal style, featuring a playful newspaper headline emblazoned with “Dhamaal Times” and “Breaking News”.
“Aaj ki taaza khabar, brought to you by the gang, jo ab jald hi lootne aa rahe hain aapka dil...aur dimaag! #Dhamaal4 arrives in cinemas on Eid 2026,” Ajay wrote in his post.
The production house T-Series echoed the announcement, stating: “P.S. Ye swipe karte-karte Kashmir se Kanyakumari tak pahunch sakte ho Par kya karein? Khabar hi kuch aisi hai… It’s a wrap on #Dhamaal4. Now, let the madness begin! #Dhamaal4 coming to cinemas on Eid 2026!”
After an extensive filming schedule lasting over six months, the shoot concluded in Mumbai on Saturday.
The cast also includes Sanjay Mishra, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with Devgn Films, this film is a product of T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios. “Dhamaal 4” is directed by Indra Kumar, with production credits shared by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
The original film, titled “Dhamaal”, debuted in 2007 and featured Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Javed Jaffrey, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra.
Inspired by Stanley Kramer's It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Dhamaal is the first in a series of films. In 2011, it saw a sequel titled Double Dhamaal, followed by a third installment named Total Dhamaal.
The plot of Total Dhamaal draws loose inspiration from the 2015 film Vacation, with some scenes reminiscent of the 2014 movie Blended.
