Is 'Dhamaal 4' Release Delayed Again?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Jan 27 (NationPress) Fans of the hilarious 'Dhamaal' series will need to exercise some patience as the release of the fourth chapter has been pushed back once more. The film's producers revealed the updated release date on Tuesday, announcing that "Dhamaal 4" will now hit theaters on July 3 this year.
This marks the second time the screening has been rescheduled.
Originally, "Dhamaal 4" was set to premiere on March 19. To prevent a box-office showdown with two highly anticipated films — Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" and Yash's "Toxic" — the production team adjusted the release to June 12.
However, they have opted to delay it yet again.
Under the direction of Indra Kumar, "Dhamaal 4" will feature the beloved cast from the franchise, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi.
Newcomers Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan will also join the ensemble this time around.
The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak, with Gulshan Kumar and T-Series presenting it in collaboration with Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios.
For a quick refresher, the inaugural film in the series, “Dhamaal”, debuted in 2007. It featured actors Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Javed Jaffrey, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra in pivotal roles.
The sequel, "Double Dhamaal", followed in 2011, with the third entry, "Total Dhamaal", arriving in 2019.
The narrative of "Total Dhamaal" is said to be loosely inspired by the 2015 film "Vacation", along with several scenes drawn from the 2014 movie "Blended".
