Chennai, June 10 (NationPress) Actor Dhanush referred to Sekhar Kammula, the director of his forthcoming movie 'Kuberaa', as "a remarkable individual" on Tuesday, explaining that his decision to participate in this film stemmed from his admiration for the director.
During an event in Mumbai to unveil the single 'Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum' from 'Kuberaa', Dhanush shared insights about his journey while working on the project.
"I was told I would have to endure the sun, and that I needed to conduct extensive research... All that turned out to be false. I merely needed to follow my director. Sekhar sir was exceptional. He enlightened me on the intricacies of the role. He simplified my task significantly. This character is unlike anything I've portrayed before, and I relished the challenge," the actor candidly expressed.
Continuing to praise Sekhar Kammula, Dhanush reiterated his previous sentiments.
"Sekhar sir is an extraordinary human being; you rarely encounter someone like him. He possesses such purity and a genuinely kind heart. In the course of making numerous films and meeting various personalities, meeting someone like Sekhar Kammula makes the journey worthwhile. He is the reason I took on this role. He narrated the story in just 20 minutes, and I was captivated by his energy, positivity, and perspective. I admire his integrity both in filmmaking and as a person.
