Dharmendra Marks 89th Birthday Surrounded by Sons Bobby and Sunny, Hema Malini Shares Touching Tribute

Mumbai, Dec 8 (NationPress) Legendary actor Dharmendra, recognized for his recent appearance in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, is celebrating his 89th birthday this Sunday.
To commemorate this special day, the esteemed actor was joined by his sons Sunny and Bobby at his residence located at Juhu Tara Road in Mumbai. The beloved star cut his birthday cake amidst his fans and shared warm embraces with his sons.
On this significant day, Dharmendra’s second wife, Hema Malini, took to social media to express her love. She posted two heartfelt images of them together on her Instagram.
In her heartfelt caption, she expressed, “A day to celebrate! Happiest Birthday to the man of my dreams. I hold your heart as you hold mine ever since we first met many years ago. We have been through good times and bad, always together, steadfast in our love for each other. I look forward to being dazzled by your charm for many more years to come. May God bless you with good health and happiness always.”
Dharmendra and Hema Malini entered into matrimony in 1980 after a five-year courtship. Their union was a subject of much discussion, as Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur and had two sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol.
In order to marry Hema, Dharmendra converted to Islam, adopting the name Dilawar Khan, while Hema became Aisha Bi. Their wedding was celebrated in an Iyengar-style ceremony, and they are proud parents to two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol.
On the professional front, Dharmendra made an impressive return to the film industry with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, followed by his role in the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. Before these roles, he had appeared in several Punjabi films.
