Chennai, Oct 13 (NationPress) Actor Dhruv Vikram, son of acclaimed star Vikram, recently revealed that during challenging scenes in his upcoming film 'Bison', he draws inspiration from his father to perform at his best.
At a pre-release event for the film, Dhruv stated, "Whenever I face a difficult or intense scene, Chiyaan (Vikram) is always in my thoughts and heart. I constantly ask myself, 'If he can do so much, why can't I push a little harder?' I aspire to honor his legacy and strive to be worthy of being his son. Thank you, Chiyaan, for everything you've given me."
He expressed gratitude to his director Mari Selvaraj, acknowledging the opportunity to work alongside talented actors. Dhruv commented, "No matter how much I thank Mari Selvaraj for this incredible opportunity, it will never feel enough. Some say I waited two or three years for him; I would have waited even 20 or 30 years! While I appreciate the hard work I've put into this film, I believe if Mari had acted in it, the results would have been even more outstanding. If we can deliver even 10 percent of what he envisions, the scenes will shine. I long for his reassuring words like 'Take okay' or 'Superda.' Thank you, sir; my gratitude is boundless."
Dhruv also expressed his wish for 'Bison' to succeed, particularly for the dedication demonstrated by director Mari Selvaraj.
Additionally, he thanked the coaches and Kabaddi players who collaborated with him on the film, emphasizing the close relationships he built with them.
For those who may not know, Dhruv portrays a Kabaddi player in Mari Selvaraj's socio-sports drama 'Bison Kaalamaadan', co-starring Anupama Parameswaran and Rajisha Vijayan. This highly anticipated film is set to release on October 17 this year.
