Chennai, Feb 21 (NationPress) Renowned Indian actor Vikram, affectionately known as 'Chiyaan' Vikram by his admirers, has made an exciting announcement regarding his upcoming projects. He revealed plans to embark on four films with directors he holds in high regard.

In a heartfelt message posted on his Instagram, Vikram shared, "Sometimes silence is preparation. This past year has been about waiting for stories that resonate with me. I am grateful to commence work on four distinct films with directors I genuinely admire. I eagerly look forward to sharing these journeys with you all. Anban, Chiyaan!"

The news has ignited a wave of enthusiasm not only among his fans but also among cinema enthusiasts.

Vikram's previous film was released in March 2025, where he starred in the much-anticipated action thriller 'Veera Dheera Sooran - Part 2'. Despite facing a last-minute legal hiccup that delayed the film's release, it ultimately turned into a major success.

The film's triumph and the audience's support left Vikram overwhelmed, prompting him to share a video expressing his gratitude as the film gained popularity.

In the video, released a week post the film's premiere, Vikram stated, “Life is short. We should strive to create history. However, life often throws unexpected challenges our way. We need to confront these hurdles.”

“Before the release of Veera Dheera Sooran, numerous viewers praised its craftsmanship, predicting it would be a blockbuster. They described it as raw and a film for the masses, fueling our excitement,” he reminisced.

“Yet, as you may know, we encountered legal issues. The High Court imposed a four-week release delay. I was determined to share this film with the audience because we invested significant effort—producers, actors, and myself—all contributed greatly,” Vikram explained.

“My goal was to create something authentic and relatable for my fans. The delay was challenging, but I felt compelled to act. Everyone knows I would do anything for cinema. I took the necessary steps, and the film was eventually released,” he recounted.

Vikram emphasized that it is nearly impossible for a film to succeed when its initial two showings are canceled. However, despite this setback, Veera Dheera Sooran has emerged as a significant success.

“It’s tough for a film to thrive when both the first and second shows are canceled. Our film only premiered in the evening, which affected its initial box office performance. Nevertheless, every audience member who attended expressed enthusiasm, sharing beautiful feedback, especially families who posted videos praising the film's excellence. Hearing this brought me immense joy,” he noted.

“I can confidently say that the film is on the path to monumental success. Reflecting on this, I feel nothing but gratitude. I want to thank you all. This film was made for you. Our expectations have materialized. I am thrilled that it is achieving the recognition it deserves.
