Mumbai, July 10 (NationPress) Former beauty queen and actress Dia Mirza has shared her heartfelt appreciation for her debut film “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein”, released in 2001, which has significantly influenced her life's path.
Dia recently posted a selfie on Instagram, showcasing her in a delicate white kurta. The enchanting actress radiates charm in the image as she beams at the camera.
Reflecting on the film's iconic background score, Dia, who portrayed Reena in this cult classic, highlighted the rain theme that marked her introduction in the Gautham Vasudev Menon film.
“This melody has profoundly shaped the soundtrack of my adult life… I was just 19 when I twirled in the rain with children, marking the first moment I shared with the audience as an actor. The film's title encapsulates the essence of the hope we all carry into this journey called - LIFE,” she wrote in her post.
Dia expressed her gratitude towards everyone for the affection she has received for the film.

This film is a remake of the director's own Tamil project Minnale, which also starred Madhavan in the same role. Notably, it marks Dia Mirza's debut film as well as Madhavan's official entry into Bollywood after a brief uncredited role in the song “Chup Tum Raho” from Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi.
