Mumbai, April 8 (NationPress) Although actress Diksha Dhami lacks formal dance training, she delivered an enchanting performance for a pivotal scene in Shemaroo Umang’s hit series "Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain".

Jaiveer, the husband of Chaina, feels deceived and heartbroken upon learning that Chaina accepted money to falsely portray herself as his wife during his absence. In an unexpected turn of events, he compels Chaina to perform a dance in front of his friends as a means of public humiliation. The scene was deeply emotional and intense, requiring Diksha to delve deep into her abilities as both a performer and an individual.

Diksha, who plays Chaina, has always had a natural affinity for rhythm. Reflecting on her experience, she stated, “I adore dancing, and my body naturally sways to music. Since joining 'Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain', my co-star Ishita and I have been eager to create dance reels together, and our very first reel featuring 'Badi Mushkil Baba Badi Mushkil' from 'Lajja' garnered a lot of love from our audience.”

However, her true challenge arose when she had to execute a dance segment for the show. Discussing her feelings, Diksha expressed, “I was quite anxious about dancing solo to a spiritual song, but Ishita, understanding my vulnerability, stayed back to assist me in preparing for the sequence and provided me with the confidence I required. On-screen, she’s my antagonist, but off-screen, she has become one of my dearest friends. What began as a daunting task transformed into a genuinely enjoyable and rewarding experience.”

In the current storyline of 'Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain', Chaina—Jaiveer’s Rakshini—marries him even though he is believed to be dead, hoping that this union will bring him back to life. Miraculously, Jaiveer awakens, but their happiness is short-lived. Will Jaiveer accept this marriage?

"Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain" broadcasts from Monday to Saturday at 9:00 PM, exclusively on Shemaroo Umang.
