Mumbai, April 23 (NationPress) Actor Sheel Verma has shared insights about his exceptional rapport with Diksha Dhami both on and off the sets of “Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurian.”

Sheel states, "The on-screen chemistry is often influenced by the writers and the given context, but as co-actors, we strive to infuse something additional into each scene.”

“Before the director yells ‘action’ and after the ‘cut’, we frequently check in with each other, asking if the emotions resonated well. Was the anger or sadness convincing? Diksha is incredibly supportive in that regard.”

“If a scene requires a quick tweak or adjustment, she is quick to notice and offers sincere feedback. This level of understanding and care illustrates how our friendship outside of work enhances our performances. When we’re not filming, we often plan our next prank on fellow cast members or create entertaining dance reels.”

He reminisces about a recent prank they pulled on Ishita, who portrays Chamkili, the principal antagonist in their series.

“Diksha and I prevented her from delivering her lines on cue, and when the director called ‘cut’, we pretended to think she had forgotten her dialogue. She became quite flustered and started reciting her lines non-stop.”

He added: “The crew joined in on the fun and ended up creating a reel from it. It was hilarious, and everyone on set burst into laughter, while Diksha had to step in to calm her down.”

Sheel fondly recalls the first meeting with Diksha during a narration session with the writer-producer.

“We merely exchanged a simple greeting. However, as we began filming together more frequently, especially in similar locations, our connection deepened. She possesses a calm and composed demeanor, which I truly admire.”

“I aspire to embody that tranquility in my life. Professionally, I appreciate her ability to portray emotional scenes so authentically. When she cries on screen, it feels genuine, and I strive to emulate that depth in my performances.”

“Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurian” is broadcast on Shemaroo Umang.
