Mumbai, Nov 30 (NationPress) Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh, who is touring various cities in India, is currently embracing the vibrant essence of Kolkata.
This past Saturday, the actor and singer took to his Instagram to share snapshots from his Kolkata visit. In the images, Diljit is seen wandering through the streets of Kolkata, purchasing flowers, and enjoying rides in the iconic ambassador taxis, which were a hallmark of the English colonial era.
In his caption, he wrote, “Kolkata 24”.
Diljit was spotted wearing a stylish printed t-shirt paired with casual cargo pants, complemented by a yellow turban.
Earlier, while in Ahmedabad, Diljit paused his performance upon noticing fans watching from the hotel balcony. A viral video captured the moment where Diljit questioned the fans who were enjoying his show without tickets.
He requested his team to stop the music and then addressed the fans, saying, “Those who are sitting in the hotel balcony, this is good for you. The hotel outsmarted us. Without tickets, huh?”
Recently, Diljit’s concerts have been attracting significant national attention due to his engaging performances and related content. He previously took a stand against the Telangana government, which issued a notice regarding his songs that reference alcohol. Diljit boldly challenged state governments across the nation, suggesting a ban on alcohol consumption.
He stated that if alcohol use were banned throughout India, he would permanently cease singing songs that reference alcohol. He also mentioned releasing two devotional songs recently, emphasizing that he has very few alcohol-related songs since he is a teetotaller.
