Diljit Dosanjh Radiates ‘Don’ Energy as He Overtakes Shah Rukh Khan in Remarkable Achievement

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has recently garnered attention after outperforming Shah Rukh Khan on the UK's Top Asian Celebrity list. He expressed his sentiments regarding this accomplishment through his music.

The Punjabi star has secured the leading position on the UK's list of the Top 50 Asian Celebrities globally, leaving behind renowned figures such as Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun. The ‘Udta Punjab’ actor took to his Instagram stories to convey his feelings, allowing his music to articulate his joy.

Upon reposting an article about his success, Diljit added his hit song "Born To Shine" to reflect his emotions. In another story, he showcased his latest track "Don," celebrating this achievement even further.

Dosanjh reached this pinnacle due to his chart-topping songs, successful film ventures, international collaborations, and his incredibly successful Dil-Luminati Tour. He also earned significant acclaim for his performance in the critically lauded film “Amar Singh Chamkila.”

The Jatt & Juliet 3 actor surpassed last year’s leading figure, Shah Rukh Khan, claiming the top position in the 2024 edition of the list released by UK weekly Eastern Eye. The list was publicly announced earlier this month.

Singer Charli XCX took the second position, followed by Allu Arjun in third, Dev Patel in fourth, Priyanka Chopra in fifth, and actor Vijay in sixth. Arijit Singh secured the seventh spot. Other prominent Indian celebrities featured in the list include Prabhas, Rajkummar Rao, Kartik Aaryan, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Hrithik Roshan.

In the meantime, Diljit is actively engaged in his Dil-Luminati Tour, performing in various cities across India. The Indian segment of the tour commenced in Delhi on October 26 and has already witnessed successful shows in Jaipur, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. On Thursday, he performed in Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Race Course.

Mumbai was initially not on the list of intended cities for the tour, but due to overwhelming demand, a show was added. Furthermore, two additional performances were scheduled—one in Jaipur and another in Delhi.

The 12-city tour is set to conclude in Guwahati on December 29.
