Shah Rukh Khan's Enchanting Voice Elevates Diljit Dosanjh's New Song 'Don'

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) The eagerly awaited track ‘Don’ by Diljit Dosanjh, in partnership with Shah Rukh Khan, has been released, and it’s the Bollywood star’s enchanting voiceover that amplifies the song’s appeal.

The over three-minute video opens with SRK saying: “Puraane kahaawat hai ke sabse upar jaana hai toh bahut saari mehnat chahiye lekin sabse upar tikna hai toh maa ki dua chahiye. Tumhaara mujh tak pahuchna mushkil hi nahi naamumkin hai. Kiyunki dhool kitni bhi upar chali jaaye aasmaan ko ganda nahi karsakti.”

The translation of this dialogue is: “There’s an old saying that to reach the top, one must work hard. But to stay at the top, you only need your mother’s blessings. It’s not just difficult to reach me; it’s impossible, as no matter how high the dust rises, it cannot tarnish the sky.”

The song emphasizes the milestones Diljit has achieved, including becoming a Billboard-charting artist, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, traveling via a chartered flight, and highlights from his ongoing Dil-luminati tour.

Diljit shared the music video on his Instagram, captioning it: “I don’t care DUNIA Ae Ki Boldi With One & Only KING @iamsrk VIDEO OUT NOW ON YOUTUBE Year 24 roopbhullar97 @gfunkofficial @rahulduttafilms.”

As for his acting career, it was announced in September that the Punjabi sensation will star alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in “Border 2”.

A motion poster released by the creators began with a verse of “Sandese Aate Hai” from the 1997 classic “Border”. It then stated, “The bravest come together for the biggest war” after revealing Diljit’s name.

“The battlefield grows mightier with Diljit Dosanjh stepping in alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan on the frontline of Bhushan Kumar & JP Dutta’s Border 2 for the Anurag Singh directorial! #Border2 hits the theatres on January 23, 2026,” the announcement stated.

“Border 2” is the sequel to the 1997 film “Border”, which depicted the events of the Battle of Longewala. The upcoming film appears to focus on the 1999 Kargil War.

“Border 2” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on January 23, 2026.
