Mumbai, July 10 (NationPress) Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh infused a wave of nostalgia into the filming of ‘Border 2’ as he danced to a classic track from Shah Rukh Khan. The actor-singer showcased his unique energy and charisma, creating a lively atmosphere on set. He shared a video on his Instagram Stories, where he was seen enjoying the hit song “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” from the film “Duplicate.” In this clip, Dosanjh is spotted dancing and displaying his moves while stepping out of a hotel room and getting into his vehicle, striking fun poses.
Currently, the 'Udta Punjab' star is busy filming the anticipated war drama Border 2, where he frequently shares behind-the-scenes glimpses. Just yesterday, he posted a video featuring himself relaxing with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty, alongside director Anurag Singh.
In his post, Diljit captioned it, “Just Another Day Brother.” The video began with him preparing for a scene when a sudden downpour halted the filming. Undeterred by the rain, he was heard saying, “Tension mat lo, hum maze karenge” (Don’t worry, we’ll have fun), perfectly capturing the cheerful mood on set.
“Ye Border ke director sahab shooting chhod ke hamare pass hi ake baith gaye hain. Kende pehle aap hi hi hi hi kar lo bad main hum shooting kar lenge. (The director has left the shoot and is sitting with us. He says, First you finish your chit-chat, then we will shoot),” he mentioned in the video. The footage also highlighted a humorous exchange between Diljit and actress Mona Singh as they enjoyed a light-hearted conversation.
In other news, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has opted to temporarily lift its non-cooperation directive against Diljit Dosanjh, permitting him to focus exclusively on Border 2. FWICE President B. N. Tiwari explained that T-Series had made a formal request, indicating that a substantial portion of the war scenes had already been filmed. They argued that recasting at this point would disrupt the actor pairings and complicate production.
Diljit previously faced a ban from FWICE following criticism over his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in “Sardaar Ji 3.”
