Actress Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 in a deeply personal way this year — welcoming Lord Ganpati into a home that recently welcomed twin baby boys. The couple have opted for a blue-themed décor, a colour traditionally associated with boys, making this their first festival as parents.

The Blue Theme and Its Meaning

Divyanka revealed that the choice of blue was deliberate and symbolic. 'Our two babies have just arrived. So, we thought that Lord Ganpati should come and see our babies here at home,' she said. 'We have kept a little blue theme because there are boys, and there are some pearls, and there are rabbits, mushrooms. We have kept a little cute decor. It's for our babies.'

The couple brought home a baby Ganesha idol, keeping the celebrations intentionally modest. 'We haven't done much in terms of preparations. We have kept everything very small, very simple,' Divyanka noted, describing the setup as a warm, intimate tribute rather than a grand affair.

First Ganpati as New Parents

This marks the couple's first Ganesh Chaturthi since embracing parenthood, and Divyanka was candid about the added complexity of hosting guests while tending to newborns. 'It is hectic. We have to manage a lot. If the brain was running at 60, then it has to run at 160,' she said, adding that ensuring the babies' comfort while receiving visitors requires going 'an extra mile.'

Notably, the family chose home-cooked food for the occasion — a conscious decision that underlines the intimate tone of this year's festivities. 'We have made Modak there. And we have made vegetables, roti, dal, whatever we are going to eat at home — we have made everything at home,' she shared.

Life With Twin Boys: What Divyanka Said

The actress offered a candid glimpse into the round-the-clock reality of new parenthood. 'Even while sleeping, we are looking at the babies whether they are okay or not. We never thought so much about ourselves as much as we are thinking about the new individuals,' she said.

She added that their sense of purpose has shifted entirely toward the twins: 'When we used to think that we should do something different, something good, now it seems that whatever we do, it should be good for the babies.'
