Hyderabad, Oct 4 (NationPress) The production team behind director Maruthi's highly anticipated horror thriller 'The Raja Saab', starring actor Prabhas in the leading role, has officially announced that they have commenced dubbing for the film.

Initially set to premiere globally on December 5 this year, the film's release date has now been pushed back to January 9 next year.

People Media Factory, the studio behind the film, took to their X account to share this exciting news. They posted images from the dubbing studio along with the message, 'The world will soon experience the rage, romance, and entertainment of #TheRajaSaab. Dubbing begins with all heart.'

This film has generated significant buzz among fans and cinema enthusiasts, particularly following the release of a spine-chilling yet expertly crafted trailer that has heightened anticipation.

The trailer opens with Prabhas being hypnotized by an expert to uncover his past. As he explores his history, he senses a strange creature lurking in the shadows, abruptly awakening from his trance. The film promises not only thrilling horror but also a healthy dose of humor.

One memorable moment in the trailer depicts a spirit preparing to confront Prabhas, who greets the apparition as his grandfather, offering to introduce it to his friends. A bewildered VTV Ganesh questions the need for such introductions, to which Prabhas retorts, 'Then, what are you waiting for? Run!'

The movie appears to blend romance, action, and comedy alongside horror, with the trailer suggesting a feast of action-packed sequences. The character of Sanjay Dutt is introduced next, accompanied by a voiceover stating, 'He is not just some street magician; he's an exorcist, a hypnotist, and a psychiatrist. He's playing with our minds.'

We also get a glimpse of another side of Prabhas as a demon, quipping, 'What's your problem? Am I an ant that stings you when you reach into the anthill? I'm the demon.' He says this while stylishly smoking a cigar, seated upside down on a throne that seemingly hangs from the ceiling.

Expectations are running high for this film as Prabhas ventures into new territory with this project. For those who may not know, The Raja Saab will mark Prabhas's first full-fledged horror film.
