Hyderabad, Oct 10 (NationPress) Director Maruthi, currently in Greece shooting a few songs for his much-anticipated horror thriller 'The Raja Saab', recently shared a post expressing his admiration for the incredible energy that Prabhas is bringing to the dance sequences.

On his X timeline, Maruthi shared a memorable scene from S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali', depicting Kattappa lifting Baahubali's heel and placing it on his head, captioning it with, "Observing my beloved #Prabhas’ amazing energy for the songs. This scene just came to mind. #TheRajaSaab is set to release on 9th January 2026. Your opinions matter!"

The team of 'The Raja Saab' is presently in Greece to finalize the last two songs of the film. Notably, they have already wrapped up all the dialogue portions and have commenced the dubbing process.

Originally scheduled for a global release on December 5 this year, the film's release has now been pushed to January 9 next year.

There is immense excitement surrounding the film, which has been intensified by the chilling yet well-cut trailer released recently.

The trailer opens with Prabhas being hypnotized by an expert to uncover his past. As he delves into his history, he senses a strange creature lurking in the shadows, causing him to awaken abruptly from his trance. The film promises not just spine-tingling horror, but also a good dose of humor.

One scene reveals a spirit preparing to confront Prabhas, who greets it as his grandfather and offers introductions to those nearby. A confused VTV Ganesh questions the need for introductions, to which Prabhas humorously responds, "Then what are you waiting for? Run!"

The film blends romance, action, humor, and horror, with the trailer suggesting an exciting action-packed experience for audiences. The character played by Sanjay Dutt is introduced with a voice-over stating, "He is not just a street magician; he’s an exorcist, hypnotist, and psychiatrist, toying with our minds."

Finally, we catch a glimpse of another persona of Prabhas as a demon. "What’s your issue? Am I an ant to annoy you when you approach the anthill? I’m the demon," he declares, stylishly smoking a cigar while seated upside down on a throne that appears to be suspended from the ceiling.

The film has raised substantial expectations, as Prabhas ventures into a new genre with this project. For those unfamiliar, The Raja Saab will be Prabhas's first comprehensive horror film.

Cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani, and the music score is composed by Thaman S.

The cast of 'The Raja Saab' features a captivating trio: Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who are expected to bring charm and freshness to the vibrant yet eerie universe of The Raja Saab.
