Chennai, Sep 29 (NationPress) Director Maruthi, known for his engaging storytelling, has revealed that the shooting of the film's intro song for the much-anticipated horror thriller 'The Raja Saab', starring Prabhas in the leading role, has successfully concluded.

On his X timeline, Maruthi shared, "Wrapped up the intro song shoot for #TheRajasaab. Just a little note: I love you, darling!"

For those who may not know, this film, which has created significant buzz, is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on December 5 this year.

In this venture, Prabhas will venture into new territory as The Raja Saab marks his first complete horror film.

The initial motion poster, released earlier, hinted at an intriguing mix of supernatural elements intertwined with classic charm, capturing widespread attention.

Directed by Maruthi, who is recognized for his unique fusion of humor and emotion, The Raja Saab promises to deliver a horror film enriched with unexpected entertainment.

Produced by People Media Factory, the film is anticipated to be a visual treat. Reports suggest that it is being crafted on a grand scale with top-tier production values.

This project is being produced by T G Vishwa Prasad, featuring cinematography by Karthik Palani and music by Thaman S.

In a departure from traditional filmmaking, where songs are usually finalized prior to filming, the creative team behind 'The Raja Saab' opted for a different strategy, granting Thaman the freedom to revisit his musical compositions.

When discussing this unconventional approach, Thaman expressed in a March interview, "I favor this method because Prabhas sir is making a return to commercial songs after a long hiatus. There’s an intro song, a melody, a vibrant dance number, and a love song that embodies the film's theme."

With immense expectations surrounding the film’s soundtrack, Thaman is committed to delivering exceptional quality.

He stated, "The audio company has invested around ₹30-40 crore. Hence, the songs must resonate with audiences across India, including Hindi-speaking audiences. Since Prabhas is returning to a commercial genre, I must invest my passion into it. There’s no space for mediocrity."

The cast of 'The Raja Saab' features the captivating trio of Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who are expected to bring charm, grace, and freshness to the film’s eerie yet vibrant narrative.
