Hyderabad, Nov 4 (NationPress) The team behind director Maruthi's eagerly anticipated horror film 'The Raja Saab', starring actor Prabhas, has firmly dismissed circulating rumors on social media suggesting that the film's release might face delays.

People Media Factory, the production company responsible for this highly awaited project, released an official statement emphasizing that these claims are entirely unfounded and that the film is scheduled for a grand global theatrical debut on January 9, 2025, as a part of the Sankranthi festivities.

In their announcement, the production team stated, "Recently, certain false rumors have appeared on social media asserting that the film's release has been postponed once more. The creators have definitively confirmed that 'The Raja Saab' will arrive in theaters as planned on January 9, 2025 - without any delays."

They also mentioned that VFX and other post-production processes are currently advancing swiftly, with preparations underway for a comprehensive release strategy across multiple languages, including IMAX and other premium formats, to ensure that audiences experience a stunning big-screen adventure.

A major pre-release event is set to occur in the U.S. this December, with the first copy of the film expected to be completed by December 25.

The film, initially slated for a worldwide release on December 5 of this year, is now set for January 9 of next year.

This project has sparked immense interest among fans and cinephiles, further amplified by the spine-chilling yet expertly crafted trailer that the makers unveiled recently.

The trailer begins with actor Prabhas being hypnotized by an expert to uncover his past. As he journeys back, he senses a strange entity lurking in the shadows and suddenly awakens. The film promises not only spine-tingling horror but also a healthy dose of humor, as evidenced by a scene where Prabhas greets an apparition, calling it his grandfather and offering introductions to bystanders. A bewildered VTV Ganesh questions the need for introductions, to which Prabhas responds, "Then, what are you waiting for? Run!"

The film seems to blend romance, action, and humor seamlessly with horror elements. The trailer suggests audiences are in for an exhilarating action experience. We also meet Sanjay Dutt’s character, introduced with a voiceover that states, "He is not just any street magician; he's an exorcist, hypnotist, and psychiatrist. He plays with our minds."

Finally, we encounter another version of Prabhas portraying a demon, who says, "What's your problem? Am I an ant that you would sting when reaching into the anthill? I'm the demon," while stylishly smoking a cigar and hanging upside down on a throne.
