Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran is currently in Bengaluru as part of his ongoing +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics Tour). During his time in the city, the artist chose to engage in an unexpected street performance.
The British musician arrived near the M G Road Metro station on Church Street, where two microphones and a guitar were prepared for the show. He began to play an acoustic rendition of his hit song "Shape of You". However, only a minute into his performance, a police officer intervened and shut down the speakers to halt the act.
According to the authorities, the performance was interrupted as it had not been authorized beforehand. Reports also indicate that the police had received a complaint regarding public disturbance linked to the singer.
Following his Bengaluru appearance, Ed Sheeran is set to perform at Shillong's JN Stadium on February 12th, with his final performance scheduled for February 15th at the Leisure Valley Grounds in Gurugram.
