Jesse Eisenberg Shares Musical Journey with Son Banner
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, April 20 (NationPress) Renowned Hollywood star Jesse Eisenberg, who previously described his son Banner as a "musical prodigy," has now provided proof of his claims.
At the recent premiere of Becky Shaw on Broadway, the 42-year-old actor shared more about his son's musical abilities. He disclosed that Banner, aged 9, has mastered a particular song played on multiple instruments, according to reports from People magazine.
He stated, "My child and I have been collaborating on 'Waters of March,' a Brazilian tune, playing it on several instruments. My son plays the ukulele and piano."
He continued, "I handle the drums and guitar. While the quality may not be high, the enjoyment is immense. It’s simply the best experience ever."
According to People, Eisenberg and his spouse Anna Strout welcomed Banner, their only child, in 2017, coinciding with the year they tied the knot.
The actor, who typically keeps Banner's image private, had mentioned before that he was delighted to feature his son briefly in A Real Pain because he is "an artsy, intriguing child."
"My child is a remarkable musical talent, and we create songs together," he expressed.
In addition to starring in A Real Pain, he also took on roles as director, screenwriter, and producer.
Earlier in 2024, the star of Now You See Me shared insights on how becoming a father has transformed him into a "happier" individual.
He remarked, "For the first 33 years of my life, I was consumed by self-centered worries, many of which were just narcissistic, self-created problems that I let ruin my life. Then, I spent the last seven years focusing on genuine concerns, particularly about another person. It may sound self-serving, but it’s significantly improved my happiness," he added.
