Ekta Kapoor Celebrates Sakshi Tanwar's 52nd Birthday with Heartfelt Wish

Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) As Sakshi Tanwar reached the milestone of 52 years, TV mogul Ekta Kapoor crafted a heartfelt birthday message for the talented actress, celebrated for her roles in iconic shows like “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii” and “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain”.

Ekta shared a selfie on her Instagram stories alongside Sakshi, who is renowned for her character, Parvati Agarwal.

In her caption, Ekta joyfully wrote: “Happy Birthday Soxxxy.”

Making her television debut in 1998 with Albela Sur Mela, Sakshi gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Parvati in the beloved soap opera Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. She later captivated audiences as Priya Kapoor, opposite Ram Kapoor, in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.

In the acclaimed 2016 film Dangal, she portrayed Daya Kaur, the spouse of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters to excel in wrestling despite societal challenges.

Sakshi made a notable return to television with Tyohaar Ki Thaali. She is also set to star alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Neena Gupta in the upcoming thriller 'Dial 100'.

Meanwhile, regarding Ekta, she is currently enjoying her time in Jaipur and recently showcased her indulgent “2000-calorie” Rajasthani thali.

Ekta took to Instagram to reveal the delicious dishes she savored, including “dal baati choorma” and ker sangri.

Upon receiving her thali, Ekta was heard exclaiming: “2000 calories guys. 2000 calories.”

On January 9, she shared moments from her family vacation in Jaipur, accompanied by her son Ravie and nephew Laksshya. In a clip, Laksshya was seen holding Ravie's hand while Ekta encouraged the duo to smile for the camera.

Ekta also welcomed the talented Tabu for her project “Bhoot Bangla”, which is currently being filmed in Jaipur.

The movie ‘Bhooth Bangla’, featuring Akshay Kumar, promises an exciting mix of thrills and humor as it delves into the haunted house genre with a comedic spin.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, along with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. Co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali, the screenplay is crafted by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, while Rohan Shankar pens the dialogues.

Set to hit theaters on April 2, 2026, ‘Bhooth Bangla’ aims to entertain audiences with its unique blend of horror and comedy.
