Esha shared a delightful video on her Instagram, featuring the song “Anxiety” by Doechii in the background. The actress looked stunning in a white shirt embellished with floral designs, and she turned the camera to showcase the auto-rickshaw she was riding in.
“My ride this morning… Rickshaw ride aaj maza aaya. Ye hai Mumbai meri jaan. (The rickshaw ride was fun today. This is Mumbai, my love.),” she captioned the post.
As the daughter of renowned actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha made her acting debut in the romantic thriller Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002. She gained recognition for her roles in critically acclaimed films like Aayutha Ezhuthu, the action-packed Dhoom, Dus, and No Entry.
After a brief hiatus, she made a comeback with the streaming series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness and Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega.
Esha’s most recent project is Tumko Meri Kasam, which is reportedly inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of the prominent Indira IVF chain.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Tumko Meri Kasam also features Adah Sharma, Durgesh Kumar, Sushant Singh, Nazeea Syed Hasan, Shubhankar Das, and Manmeet Singh Sawhney in prominent roles.
In March, Esha’s mother, Hema, expressed her admiration for her daughter after attending the premiere of Tumko Meri Kasam.
She praised Esha’s performance as being mature, dignified, and wholesome.
Hema wrote: “Watched Esha in Tumko Meri Kasam at the premiere last night. Under Vikram Bhat’s able direction, I am so proud that Esha has delivered a mature, dignified, wholesome performance, as have all the other artists. Anupam Kher was, as always, the complete artist.”
“The film is based on a true story about a doctor. It gave me immense pleasure and satisfaction to see such a well-made film on the big screen.”
