Los Angeles, June 23 (NationPress) Actor Ezra Miller, who was spotted on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival last month, has indicated that they are contemplating a return to Hollywood "on tentative grounds".
The Asking for It star recently shared that they have been thinking about re-entering the Hollywood scene after their friend and director Lynne Ramsay "invited me to come" to Cannes for the world premiere of her film Die My Love, according to a report from deadline.com.
"I attended Cannes to support one of my closest friends, Lynne Ramsay, who I believe is among the greatest filmmakers alive today," they expressed in an interview with the Italian publication Lo Speciale Giornale.
"I am collaborating with her again, and the first project we will work on is a film that we are co-writing together."
Miller mentioned, "I have been writing extensively, as it allows for creative expression in solitude, which has been beneficial for me."
The Fantastic Beasts actor noted that Cannes served as a "challenging re-entry point" for them after being involved in multiple incidents since 2020, including accusations of assault, harassment, burglary, and allegations of grooming an 18-year-old, whose father later withdrew the complaint last August.
"While I carry a significant amount of remorse and regret for many things that occurred during that time, I am sincerely thankful for the lessons learned from that dark period," Miller added.
After a temporary harassment order against Miller was lifted by a Massachusetts court following allegations of inappropriate behavior around a 12-year-old child, the actor expressed gratitude for the order, claiming that the woman involved was "seeking attention or fleeting tabloid fame or some sort of personal vendetta."
"I have been unjustly targeted by an individual who has demonstrated a pattern of manipulative and destructive behavior," Miller stated in June 2023.
