Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ fans appear to be unhappy with her husband, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, due to his latest tweet aimed at billionaire Elon Musk.
A few days ago, the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, who is also recognized as the richest individual globally, responded to a post by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley on X. The post claimed that the company's profits surged after Donald Trump won the 2024 US Presidential election.
Elon Musk re-shared the tweet using a well-known meme featuring the Jonas Brothers, depicting Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas at a table as Joe Jonas enters. He commented, 'My, how the tables have turned.'
In response, Nick posted an image of Elon Musk pointing and remarked, 'Take us to the year 3000.' This tweet quickly gained traction, amassing 27.1 million views. However, it left Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s fans feeling displeased, interpreting his tweet as an endorsement of Elon Musk.
One user on X, formerly Twitter, expressed, 'Is this a trump post?! @priyankachopra get your man.' Another commented, 'Priyanka, get your man under control PLEASE.'
Later, Nick shared a festive image with Priyanka Chopra from their Christmas celebrations on X, yet the criticisms regarding his alleged endorsement of Elon Musk persisted. One comment read, 'Priyanka, please take the phone from this man before it's too late (sic).' Another added, 'Priyanka…girl, run.'
Priyanka and Nick married on December 1 and 2, 2018, following both Christian and Hindu customs at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. They celebrated with two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai. In January 2022, they welcomed their daughter through surrogacy.
Earlier this year, the actress marked her birthday while working on the set of her upcoming project, ‘The Bluff’. Although Nick couldn’t join her, he ensured she had a wonderful time by arranging a dosa truck on set, offering a variety of dosa options including plain, masala, Mysore masala, onion, and cheese dosas.
In January, Nick visited India with his brothers Joe and Kevin to perform at the second edition of the multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza India.
