Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali shared an emotional tribute as she commemorated three months since the demise of her mother, Zarine Khan, who was married to veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan.

Initially posted as a story, Farah felt this memory warranted a lasting spot on her feed. It serves as a reminder of the precious love she received from her mother and a call for others to treasure their time with parents.

On Instagram, she shared a nostalgic video of her mother celebrating her birthday. In her heartfelt message, Farah encouraged everyone to capture photographs and videos of their parents, emphasizing their worth as cherished memories after loss.

Farah expressed, “Shared this as a story yesterday, exactly three months since my Mom @zarinekhan1207 left us. It deserved a permanent post to remind me of how fortunate I was to have her love. I urge all with living parents to take numerous pictures and videos to hold onto beautiful memories when they are no longer with us.”

She fondly referred to Zarine Khan as her “beautiful mamma,” expressing her hope to find strength over time, along with gratitude for the signs she believes her mother still sends her.

“Rest in peace, my beautiful mamma. I hope to discover all your strength in due course. Thank you for all the ‘Signs’ I receive when I seek you. I am deeply thankful for having found this video on an iPad I hadn’t opened in a year yesterday.”

In November 2025, actor Zayed Khan, along with Farah and Sussanne Khan, mourned the loss of their mother, Zarine Katrak, who passed away at the age of 81 due to age-related health issues.

Reports indicate that Zarine Katrak, mother-in-law to Hrithik Roshan, had been unwell for some time before she passed at her Mumbai home.

Zarine is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and children Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.

The eldest daughter, Farah Khan Ali, is wed to DJ Aqeel, while second daughter Simone Arora is married to businessman Ajay Arora. The youngest daughter, Sussanne Khan, was previously married to actor Hrithik Roshan. Their son Zayed is partnered with Malaika.

It is said that Sanjay and Zarine first met at a bus stop, leading to their marriage in 1966. She also appeared in films like Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali.
