Farah shared a photo of herself with Akshay on Instagram Stories while they were on the set of Bigg Boss 19, during superstar Salman Khan's absence. The actor was present to promote his upcoming film Jolly LLB 3.
She expressed that it was “such fun” to host alongside Akshay.
“Tees Maar Khan 2 banaien kya?? @akshaykumar such fun hosting together (sic),” she captioned the post.
The original Tees Maar Khan, directed by Farah Khan, is a remake of the 1966 Italian film After the Fox. The film features Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna, and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, with special appearances by Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor.
Despite initial negative reviews, Tees Maar Khan has gained a following, celebrated for its parody elements and memorable dance number “Sheila Ki Jawani”, as well as Akshaye Khanna's portrayal of the flamboyant Aatish Kapoor.
On the topic of Jolly LLB 3, it is a courtroom comedy-drama directed by Subhash Kapoor, marking the third installment in the Jolly LLB series and following Jolly LLB 2. The film features Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla.
The first film was released in 2013 and focuses on the life of Advocate Jagdish Tyagi, affectionately known as Jolly, as he strives to secure justice for six innocent laborers while battling the systemic corruption within the judicial system.
The narrative draws inspiration from the 1999 hit-and-run incident involving Sanjeev Nanda and includes minor references to the Priyadarshini Mattoo case.
The sequel was released in 2017, featuring Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra alongside Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Kumud Mishra. Characters from the original film, played by Saurabh Shukla, Sanjay Mishra, and Brijendra Kala, return for the sequel.
Set in Lucknow, the storyline follows a lawyer who takes on a case against a powerful and corrupt advocate to seek justice for a victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer and a presumed-dead terrorist.
