Mumbai, June 18 (NationPress) Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who stars alongside Ali Fazal in the forthcoming film ‘Metro... In Dino’, has praised her co-star as an exceptional artist.
In a recent interview with IANS, Fatima revealed that while she shares numerous scenes with Ali in the film, her interactions with other cast members are limited.
She stated, “I primarily performed scenes with Aditya and Sara. With Sara, it was just a few, but mostly Adi and Ali. I know Adi off-set as well. Ali is a truly talented and entertaining actor. Bahut manjha hua kalakaar hai (He is such a fine artiste). It's incredibly enjoyable working with him; he brings a natural charm to his performances.”
This marks Fatima's second collaboration with director Anurag Basu, following her role in the streaming film ‘Ludo’, released amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. This time, she is familiar with the workings of an Anurag Basu set and understands the creative and logistical processes involved.
Fatima added, “With Sara, I had many light-hearted scenes. She is absolutely delightful. Adi is very laid-back and quirky in the film. Since this is also his second project with Dada, he and I felt much more at ease than others. For instance, Ali and Sara seemed a bit more anxious. Adi and I were quite relaxed, which made the experience a lot of fun.”
