Mumbai, Jan 22 (NationPress) Feroz Abbas Khan is presently engaged with 'Mughal-e-Azam: The Musical'. As part of this production, the legendary love ballad "Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya" from the film "Mughal-e-Azam" was performed at the majestic Taj Mahal on 14th January 2025.

'Mughal-e-Azam: The Musical' is scheduled to run until 23rd February 2025, marking the grand finale of its time in Delhi. Prior to its Delhi performances, the musical is set to showcase in Mumbai at NMACC until 26th January 2025.

Reflecting on the poignant experience, Feroz Abbas Khan stated, "We aimed to honor the lasting legacy of love by performing 'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya' in front of the Taj Mahal. Interestingly, Shakeel Badayuni, who penned this iconic love song, also celebrated the Taj in another renowned piece. In essence, our performance served as a tribute to Shakeel saab, Naushad ji, the Taj, and love that knows no bounds."

He continued, "While adapting K Asif's timeless saga for the stage, we never anticipated the remarkable journey it would embark upon globally. The fact that we are poised to present our 300th performance in Delhi carries immense personal importance for us all."

Meanwhile, producer Deepesh Salgia remarked, “Shapoorji Pallonji has been linked with the grandeur of 'Mughal-e-Azam' for over 75 years in both film and musical formats. Whether through the lavish production or marketing efforts, we strive to set new standards. In that spirit, our performance at the Taj represents our homage to the final season of the musical in Delhi.”

The musical showcases over 550 stunning costumes, breathtaking sets, live vocals, and mesmerizing Kathak dance.
