Chennai, June 13 (NationPress) Actor Atharvaa Murali, who takes the lead role in director Nelson Venkatesan's forthcoming crime action drama 'DNA', announced on Friday night that the final stage of dubbing corrections for the film has been successfully completed.
Taking to his X timeline, Atharvaa shared a photo with director Nelson Venkatesan and stated, "Only seven days left! The final dubbing corrections are done. We're all set for June 20. Can't wait to see everyone at the theaters!"
During the film's audio launch, director Nelson Venkatesan emphasized that this project would not have come to fruition without Atharvaa and Nimisha, declaring, "Without Atharvaa, there would be no film. Similarly, without Nimisha, this movie wouldn't exist."
Atharvaa recounted his excitement during the audio launch, saying, "Before Nelson sir presented the script, producer Ambeth sir shared a line with me over the phone. I was thrilled because I've admired Nelson's work. While many directors rush, Nelson takes the time to convey deep emotions in his films."
He continued, "When he revealed the title was DNA, I initially thought it would be a science fiction film. However, he clarified that it would focus on the story of Divya and Anand."
Nimisha portrays Divya while I play Anand. Nelson has a unique storytelling ability. Anyone can craft a narrative, but creating rich characters is a true gift. On set, we had such clarity that our focus was solely on enhancing the performance. There was never any ambiguity regarding our roles," Atharvaa remarked.
The film, featuring a background score by Ghibran and songs from five emerging music directors, is set to release on June 20.
