Los Angeles, March 9 (NationPress) The talented singer and actress Lady Gaga has revealed that her ultimate dream collaborator would be the late John Lennon, a former member of the Beatles. Lennon was tragically murdered in 1980 at the young age of 40. During a fan-led press conference held to mark the launch of her new album 'Mayhem', Gaga expressed, "I believe it would have been John Lennon."

She continued, "He possessed such a beautiful heart, and one of my favorite aspects of music history is when you can remember an artist not just for their music but for their heartfelt contributions."

Displaying her peace sign tattoo on her wrist, she noted, "This peace sign was located right outside 72nd Street by the Dakota, where he was sadly taken from us, but the peace symbol remained there every day, with Yoko Ono placing flowers outside. I got this tattoo to honor that memory, as I will never forget what he represented, and it aligns with my own beliefs as well."

Lennon was fatally shot in the archway of the Dakota, his residence in New York City, while he and his wife Yoko Ono were approaching the building, according to reports from femalefirst.co.uk.

The perpetrator, Mark David Chapman, an American fan of the Beatles, meticulously planned the murder for months, even waiting all day at the Dakota and requesting an autograph from Lennon on a copy of the album 'Double Fantasy'.

Gaga has previously drawn parallels between herself and Lennon, admitting they both share a persistent dissatisfaction with their creative outputs.

She conveyed to NME, "I am always somewhat unhappy with what I produce. Even though I might describe ‘Edge Of Glory’ as a pop masterpiece, when everything is said and done, I will find aspects I dislike, and every time I revisit it, those flaws emerge."

"In John Lennon’s (1980) interview with Playboy, he discussed how he loathed certain songs due to their final versions. They may be my favorite tracks, but Lennon himself couldn’t bear to listen to them."
