Mumbai, Sep 6 (NationPress) Actor Gajraj Rao enjoyed a delightful Onam feast at the home of his closest friend, and he is still savoring the experience. Recently, he shared a collection of images from the joyful celebration on his Instagram, showcasing the magnificent feast served on a banana leaf.
In a heartfelt caption, he expressed the joy he felt and emphasized the significance of festivals and social connections.
He stated, “Without festivals, our lives would be dull and colorless. Indian festivals not only teach us about worship but also bring together a variety of foods, songs, decorations, and unity. Today, I indulged in a feast at my dear friend Rajesh Krishnan's home for Onam. We enjoyed a plethora of exquisite Malayali dishes, met several friends after long intervals, and even made some new acquaintances. Rajesh's aunt served the meal on banana leaves with such care, beginning with rice and sambhar, followed by rasam.”
He added, “After letting the sambhar flow over the mountain of rice and drizzling a spoonful of desi ghee, we shared stories about the Vindhya Parvat... It was a time filled with silent stories among friends. With smiles, we eventually returned home. Now, I'm eagerly anticipating the next festival and the next invitation for a feast. #onam #gratitude”.
Previously, Gajraj had written moving words in tribute to the renowned writer Gulzar. He remarked, “Gulzar Sahab, it's not just a flower... but its fragrance. This fragrance has lingered among us for decades, remaining fresh.”
“His beautiful words and unmatched films have earned him accolades but have also enriched our lives. They have refined our understanding of reading, writing, and watching. Gulzar Sahab's literature and cinema are integral to our existence; we are indeed fortunate. Thank you for everything, Gulzar Sahab. Wishing you a happy birthday”, he concluded.
