Mumbai, March 2 (NationPress) Actress Genelia Deshmukh, who recently celebrated her Pickleball team's victory, Pune United, in the latest season of the World Pickleball League, is thoroughly amazed by her son Riaan's drumming abilities.
On Sunday, the actress shared a video of her son playing the drums on her Instagram Stories.
She captioned the video, “A few months back, I enrolled my son in an after-school drumming class at @ascendspeaks just so he could pass the time while waiting for his brother during football practice, and today I witnessed him play the drums, how incredible is that??”
She added, “Thank you linfomation and @radhikarajgarhia for helping me realize this; a great teacher reveals a child's potential and, in this case, helps a parent see it too when you least expect it. You are that person for me. @ascendspeaks is truly the best - (sic).”
Previously, the actress discussed her entry into the OTT realm. With a rich background in theater, she has acted in films across various languages long before the pan-India film movement gained significant traction.
When asked if her audience could expect to see her in an OTT series soon, she replied to IANS, “I would love to. For me, whether it's short-format or long-format, what matters is how I connect with my audience. I have always been open to any kind of work. Work is work. I began my career in South Films well before anyone else did. I am very proud of my work in South Films.”
She further stated, “I have worked in Bollywood, as well as films from the South. I adore films as a medium, regardless of whether they are long or short. However, I am definitely looking forward to long-format content.”
Recently, India has been gaining recognition globally in the sports arena. Discussing this, the actress mentioned, “I have always loved sports and hoped for better facilities, infrastructure, and a larger audience. While it was once limited to a couple of sports, people now openly embrace every sport and celebrate those excelling in their fields. This is fantastic for viewers like me and perhaps for my child, who is also passionate about sports.”
