For those unaware, the couple first crossed paths on the sets of their debut film, “Tujhe Meri Kasam.” Their relationship flourished, and their on-screen chemistry received widespread acclaim. What began as friendship swiftly evolved into romance, culminating in their marriage on February 3, 2012, after nine years of dating.

The actress has a rich background in theatre and has acted in films across multiple languages long before the pan-India film movement surged.

When questioned about the possibility of her appearing in an OTT series soon, she told IANS, “I would love to. For me, whether it is short-format or long-format, what matters is what I'm able to convey to my audience. I've always been open to any kind of work. Work is work. I started doing South Films long before others really embraced it. And I take pride in my work in South Films.”

She added, “I have worked in Bollywood and have done films from the South. I cherish films as a medium, regardless of the format. However, I am definitely looking forward to long-format content.”
