Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Actor Riteish Deshmukh expressed his deep emotions for his wife Genelia Deshmukh as they celebrated 24 years of love, referring to her as his “safe haven”, “greatest adventure”, and “most beautiful dream come true”.

On Instagram, Riteish posted a heartfelt image of Genelia, who beams with joy as she leans slightly forward, while Riteish lovingly nuzzles her cheek in a sweet embrace.

In his touching message, he reflected on their journey, stating that it was precisely 24 years ago that their “hearts discovered one another and held on tightly”.

He wrote: “Exactly 24 years ago, our hearts found each other and never let go. You’ve been my safe place, my wildest adventure, my softest dream come true. Thank you for choosing me every single day. My friend, my lover, my forever baiko… I am endlessly, hopelessly in love with you. @geneliad.”

Their romance began while filming Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, and they tied the knot in February 2012, following traditional Marathi customs with a Christian wedding the next day.

The couple welcomed their first son, Riaan, in November 2014, followed by their second son, Rahyl, in June 2016.

Riteish’s upcoming project is ‘Raja Shivaji’, which chronicles the legendary saga of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a revered king in India.

This historical action drama is scheduled for a global multilingual release on May 1, 2026, aiming to showcase the timeless legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to audiences worldwide.

Impressive sets were constructed and remained for over six months, designed to capture the essence, scale, and magnificence of 16th-century Maharashtra.

Additionally, he will appear in Dhamaal 4, slated for release on July 3. The film was originally set for March 19 but was postponed to avoid competition with two major films: Ranveer Singh's “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” and Yash's “Toxic”.

Directed by Indra Kumar, “Dhamaal 4” will feature the beloved cast from the franchise, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Newcomers Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan will join the ensemble cast this time around.

The first film in the franchise, “Dhamaal”, debuted in 2007, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Javed Jaffrey, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra in significant roles.

The sequel “Double Dhamaal” was released in 2011, followed by the third installment “Total Dhamaal” in 2019.

The plot of “Total Dhamaal” is reportedly loosely inspired by the 2015 film “Vacation”, with some scenes drawing from the 2014 movie “Blended”.
